Privacy Policy
How we use the personal information you give us.
Who we are
This website is run by aicorn Ltd (“aicorn”, “we”). For anything about your personal information, use our contact form.
What we collect
When you use our contact form we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us (company, phone number, number of staff, the systems you use, your message, and how you heard about us). We also record whether you ticked the box asking for occasional updates.
Like most websites, our web server keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call. We do this because you’ve asked us to (taking steps at your request before any contract) and because it’s in our legitimate interests to answer people who contact us.
- To send you occasional updates, only if you ticked the box. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To protect the website from misuse, using the technical logs.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for automated decisions about you.
Who handles it for us
Messages from the contact form are delivered to our mailbox by an email delivery service acting on our behalf, and our email and website are hosted by service providers under contract. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and then delete them. Technical logs are kept only briefly.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Use our contact form. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
